Project Overview:
A modern 8-door girls’ toilet block was officially opened at Koisaram Primary School — a major step toward improving hygiene, dignity, and gender equality in education.

Background – Challenges Faced by Girls:
Lack of proper, safe toilets caused privacy and security issues
Many girls missed school during menstruation
Some dropped out due to shame, discomfort, and poor hygiene
Stigma and silence surrounded menstruation

Impact of the New Facility:
Reduces absenteeism
Improves academic performance
Enhances well-being and confidence
Creates a supportive, respectful school environment
