Under the theme “Share Experiences. Achieve Goals. Grow Together.”, this workshop provides women with migration experience a safe and supportive space for exchange, empowerment, and personal growth.
Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences, gain new perspectives, set personal goals, and connect with other women who have faced similar journeys and challenges.
A special contribution will be made by Sarina Badafra, who grew up in a Persian working-class family in Hamburg and has been committed to social justice and political participation since her youth. Today, she serves as Chair of the Young Social Democrats (Jusos) Hamburg-Mitte, works at the Ministry for Urban Development and Housing, and is a research assistant to Irene Appiah.
The workshop includes empowerment sessions, open discussions, and networking opportunities in a welcoming and supportive environment. An international buffet and refreshments will also be provided.
The event will take place on Saturday, 19 July 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Rennbahnstraße 2, 22111 Hamburg.
The workshop is open to women with migration experience who wish to develop personally, build meaningful connections, and become part of a supportive community.
Registration is available via email at nevergiveupfoerdev@gmail.com. Places are limited.
Together, we create opportunities for empowerment, connection, and mutual support—because every story matters, and together we are stronger.
